Guess Where Those Chemical Weapons Came From, Mr. President
Canada Free Press ^ | 9-12-13 | Doug Patton

On September 11, 2001, I wrote a column entitled “Now We Know How Israel Feels.”

~snip~

After all, he [the community organizer in the White House] doesn’t even seem to know where those chemical weapons in Syria came from in the first place. Ironically, at least some of them came from Saddam Hussein’s Iraq. They were part of those weapons of mass destruction we never found.

Georges Sada is an Iraqi of Assyrian descent. Born in 1939, he was raised in the Assyrian Church of the East, a Christian sect in predominantly Muslim Iraq. Sada says he later became a born-again Christian and began attending an evangelical church. With such a background, it would be unlikely that Sada would ever rise through the ranks in Saddam Hussein’s military after the dictator’s rise to power in 1968.

But rise he did. Like the Old Testament’s Joseph, who found favor with Pharaoh in Egypt, or Daniel in the land of Nebuchadnezzar, he was elevated to the position of Air Vice-Marshall, second in command of Saddam’s Air Force.

~snip~

In 2003, Sada sided with the U.S. during the invasion that toppled Saddam’s government. During that conflict, he served as a spokesman for interim leader Ayad Allawi and was appointed National Security Advisor.

In 2006, Sada laid out the case against Saddam Hussein in a book titled “Saddam’s Secrets,” wherein he writes that the Iraqi leader ordered barrels of chemical weapons loaded onto civilian aircraft in which the passenger seats had been removed and flew them into — you guessed it — Syria.

Sada also expressed confidence that the truth would come out in Congressional hearings. Again, that was in 2006. Unfortunately, Democrats took control of both Houses of Congress that year and that, my friends, is why you very likely have never heard this story before.

Sada thought that the truth would come out in Congressional hearings. Hmmmm, I wonder, did his nose grow, a la Pinocchio? Should have.

It is ironic that the same people who condemned Bush for going into Iraqi to rid him of chemical weapons now want to do the same in Syria on far flimsier evidence and without backing of the UN, Congress and a host of other nations.

Yep. The WMD's that did not exist then have been found.
Can we vindicate Bush now? Yea I know, I'm being naïve.
It boggles my mind how anybody can be surprised by this.

I am so glad you posted this article. I have posted comments about General Sada many times here. I heard him speak at our church 6 or 7 years ago in which he detailed how the WMD were shipped to Syria during the time the UN was sending relief there for the flooding in Syria.

Saddam snuck in his WMDs under the guise of relief aid.

I wish this factual accounting of events would make it out to the MSM and settle the WMD controversy once and for all.

General Sada was Saddam’s only Christian general. And the only general Saddam trusted for ‘unsuckup’ advice. He also told the church members that all of Saddam’s cooks and kitchen workers were Christian to keep him safe from poisoning attempts.

Georges Sada does great humanitarian missionary work now, and I believe lives in Texas.

Not only are the dems wanting to go into Syria for the same reason as Iraq, it’s the same WMDs! Ironic. And they don’t even see it.

Thank you for the additional information. Yes, I wonder why we don’t hear more of Sada’s compelling story.
