"We're still discussing strategy regarding the continuing resolution with our [Republican] Conference," a House leadership aide told CBS News.

Translation: Our first scheme failed to fool anyone so we're onto Plan B now. Keep the pressure on these bozos folks.

The GOP is the author of ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE and just
LOOK at the smile on its chief GOP author's face.
THEY LOVE IT.
Ironically, cruelly, THEY ARE NOT EVEN UNDER IT
and do not want to be (not their families or staff).

Willard on imposing ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE ... for others:
"Conservatives are such fools.
Boehner, McConnell, Obama and especially the MSM have our backs."

Some Republicans want to use that threat of a government shutdown as leverage to defund the Affordable Care Act (even though the impact of "defunding" the bill without completely repealing it at this point is negligible).

You can always leave it to the Democrat newsrooms to editorialize within their own "reporting".

Does anyone recall or have at his fingertips the response to the paper put out by Senator Coburn supported by The Congressional Research Service entitled:

CRS: “Government Shutdown” Does Not Shut Down Obamacare

How many groups have been given waivers...how many people does that total up to? What is the ratio of those who have been given waivers to those who were given the “right” to healthcare and who didn’t have coverage? Have Frank Luntz bring a group onto Fox and have them explain their costs now vs costs under the new program. MAKE THE CASE TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!

Jim, what year was it that w last had a “real” budget?

I’m not talking about a bunch of “continuing resolutions”, I mean a “real” budget.

Maybe the house should just dust that one off,
and approve it again, and send it over to the senate.

If they reject it, then the house could say,
“Hey, it was good enough for you then, why isn’t it good enough for you now?”
