but but.. wind power is so cheap.. just flowing thru the atmosphere.. for the taking..

makes ya wonder about some folks.. they’d probably rather have a solar panel stapled to their forehead to run their pacemaker.. wouldn’t want to create any excessive waste yaknow.. batteries and all.

Follies are a dime a dozen these days, and seemingly, mostly funded by econuts and big gubamint subsidies.. all risky schemes, ask the birds, especially the eagles.

A subsidiary of the Warren Buffett-owned MidAmerican Energy Holdings is looking to capitalize on federal tax subsidies by installing 448 wind turbines across five Iowa counties in order to generate up to 1,050 megawatts of power by 2015.
