...Laborers (LIUNA) President Terry O'Sullivan, who endorsed the resolution, told the convention delegates that without changes to the way the ACA is implemented, there are likely to be "unintended consequences" that will hurt workers' health care coverage.
AFT Secretary-Treasurer Lorretta Johnson said many AFT members, including para-professionals, adjunct college professors, nurses and public employees, have had their hours cut to under the 30-hour week threshold they must work before ACA requires employers to provide affordable, comprehensive health care coverage or pay a penalty.

One does not fix a Yugo.
One trashes it.
A waiver will be along SOON, count on it.
Useful idiots.... always the last to know.
Sheeeeeyit. The damage to health care coverage will be nothing compared to the damage to actual health care we will experience what with all the doctors retiring and the dearth of medical school students.
Well said!
OMG! There a turd polisher's union?
They might as well try to fix pancreatic cancer with a band-aid.
y’can’t polish a turd
They don’t want the program fixed.
They just want a waiver for themselves.
My brother, who was in the used car business, called wrecks like ObaMaoCare “radiator cap jobs.” Save the radiator cap and drive a new car underneath it.
These commie fools want exemptions for them selves...and they will get it. The rest of us will be soooooo screwed. Thanks DIMs, LIBs and RINOs. Where is the French Revolution when you need one?
TBA at one minute to midnight on a Friday evening just before a congressional recess.
It was passed with only dem votes, it can be “fixed” with only dem votes.
This is what happens when “we have to pass legislation so we know what’s in it” per that great constitutional scholar, Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco. Now the unions who supported it know what’s in it, let them live with it. Any Republican who allows waivers or special exemptions for the unions from this garbage they strongly supported (and shoved down the throats of the rest of us) needs to be voted out of office.
“A waiver will be along SOON, count on it.”
And so should a federal lawsuit after that.
A waiver will be along SOON, count on it.
- They’re calling it an “Accommodation” now...
“And so should a federal lawsuit after that.”
- Roberts will just cite that, All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others. Orwell, Animal Farm, (1946), p. 98.
