During a ceremony Wednesday morning at the memorial plaza at the World Trade Center site, relatives recited the names of the nearly 3,000 people who died when hijacked planes slammed into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and near Shanksville, Pa., on Sept. 11, 2001.
The names of victims of the 1993 trade center bombing were also read.
The reading of the names ceremony took a slight political turn Wednesday morning when a teenager who was reading the names of victims mentioned her fallen uncle.
And also made a plea to President Barack Obama.
When it was Brittney Cofresis turn to read her relatives name, holding a photo of her uncle, she said, And my uncle Salvatore T. Papasso. I was only three when you were taken from us, and we love you and miss you very much. And President Obama: Please do not bring us to another war.

Saw clip of her comments on TV and loved it - actually reminded me of Sunday just before Bush launched the attack into Iraq when I had returned to my old church after several years for service and had to sit through their new self-righteous minister giving a long prayer asking that “our leaders get wisdom” and not undertake military action in Iraq - probably the start of my eventually leaving the church altogether several years later.....
