I disagree. In all seriousness, this is high humor for me. This amateur administration has gone from being dangerous, to being embarassing to just plain funny.
Nero fiddled while Rome burned. I’m laughing while the US burns. Sure, it’s sad and hopeless - and a lot of people are going to get hurt - bus sometimes you just gotta laugh at the absurdity of the whole thing Starting with who the Obama base actually is and then just going from there.
If it happened a thousand years ago, we’d all be laughing hysterically since it wouldn’t have the sting these events have while being endured. I try to see it from that perspective. One could call it denile. I prefer to see it as my embracing the Serenity prayer:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
If you are falling without a chute from an airplane at 10,000 feet, you might as well enjoy the view on your way down.
