Please discuss the Colorado recall election results here. I searched FR and did not find a thread. I have also searched the internet and the CO Secretary of State web site, and have been unable to find any results page for these elections. So, if anybody can find any info, please post here.
Still too early I think.
Should be interesting.
Can outside interests buy an election?
Yes, I know it’s early for actual counts, but you’d think they would have the results page up and running by now.
There was one thread this morning that made it sound like the pro-recall people already gave up.
If the results were going the way they wanted, they'd sure as heck have it up and running by now.
I think the big thing hear is that Bloomberg and others outspent the pro constitution forces about seven to one.
If the pro-constitution (recall side) wins, It pretty much disproves the whole statist myth that the NRA “buys” elections.
Usually, when an electorate becomes informed through a vigorous election, the pro Constitution forces win big.
Very interesting, to be sure.
Denver Post live results page; http://live.denverpost.com/Event/Colorado_Recall_Election_2013 They say results will be released in about an hour.
I guess I missed that. I saw a thread that said turnout was heavy and another that more voters were being prepared for.
Thanks to Reichsfuhrer Bloomberg, the recall people were outgunned seven bucks to one. This is going to be tough. Too many Colofornian, anti-gun Nazis living up there now. Most of them are high on marijuana all of the time and are afraid of guns.
Heavy turnout is good for the pro-recall side....IMO
Can this thread be posted in the Breaking News panel on the right, please? It already has important links which will be needed later to find real-time election results. These links will be live in about 45 minutes. By that time this post will be long gone unless it is listed in Breaking News.
With 36 minutes until polls close, TV ads are still running in the Springs, just saw one on BOR.
Also here. No results, yet.

OK - polls should be closed ...
“OK - polls should be closed ...”
Yes, should be. Unless, that is, the dems think they are in trouble and need to find s sympathetic judge and another bus load of voters to bring in.
Denver Post, today

Election results on hold until after president’s speech.
No results so far, El Paso County is usually fairly quick to report, -—though it’s still a tad early.
Apparently there is no exit polling

Too damn close for the district he is in. Hoping it holds.

UPDATED 0 MINUTES AGO
Pueblo County (run by Democrats) still not reporting anything.....
....why is it that Democrats are incapable of running an efficient accurate election?
Thanks to everyone for the updates and info.!
She may. She certainly has a better (for her anyway) district than Morse. For me, I can’t wait to see Morse again at the Safeway and give him a big SEG and guffaw.
UPDATED 1 MINUTE AGO
Caution: Only 14/31 precincts are reporting, per AP, on the Morse recall. Yes winning 52-48 so far, but it ain't over #COrecall #COpolitics
They are too busy marking ballots to ensure they win.
So the take away so far, unless you are in a VERY secure Democratic district - don’t touch my guns ...
The Somali vote hasn’t been counted yet.
And we'll sit by and let them get away with it.
