Iran's new President Hassan Rowhani said Tuesday that Tehran will not give up "one iota" of its nuclear rights, echoing his hardline predecessor, after the UN nuclear watchdog urged improved cooperation.
The comments come ahead of meeting later this month between his Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton on restarting negotiations on the Islamic republic's controversial nuclear ambitions.
"Our government will not give up one iota of its absolute rights" on the nuclear issue, said Rowhani, a reputed moderate, repeating a mantra frequently used by his predecessor Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The mullahs are feeling good these days. Now they are assured there will be no “limited strike” and regime change in Syria. They get to keep their forward Syrian bases for their short range ballistic missiles pointed at Israel. As long as they are there, Israel cannot attack Iran’s nuclear facilities with impunity.
Don’t worry folks, when the time comes, ahem* Obama will be able to mobilize the US government and our allies to stop Iran’s drive for an A-Bomb...
Obama has stated many times that he will not allow Iran to get a bomb. He also stated that “all options are on the table”.
What meaning is left in this man’s statements?

The reality is that there is no meaning to his statements. Virtually any pronouncement he makes is relative to the day’s perceived immediate needs. Liberals have no bedrock principles. Their “values” rest on sand and shift with the wind. Just imagine how Reagan would have handled the strategic long term problem with Syria. Today Russia and Iran are much stronger and Iran’s nuclear program proceeds. At the moment Israel cannot attack it with impunity.
When will Israel be able to attack? The ONLY thing holding them back is Obama.
