Syria on Tuesday said the government would take the deal proposed by Russia to turn over its chemical weapons cache to international control, the nations foreign minister said.
[Monday] we held a round of very fruitful negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Serge[y] Lavrov and he put forward an initiative regarding chemical weapons. Already in the evening we accepted Russias initiative, said Walid Muallem, the foreign minister, in a statement reported by Russian news and picked up by USA Today

Actually I believe this is the answer to prayers sent to God from millions of people around the world. It was not a coincidence that those words came out of Kerry’s mouth. God said he would put words in the mouth of people. (not that I think Kerry intended it) just God acting in his own mysterious way.
Does this mean we don’t have to listen to you-know-who tonight?
It looks like Syria is going to hide behind Russia’s skirt. What will President Obama do?
obama threatened or not threatened depending on the day, Putin says “do what I say” and Sryia obeys.
Somehow, I am receiving a perverse pleasure from that.
(Wonder when obama will take credit for this)
We don’t have to listen. LOL!
On come on now, Wa Times: this was John F’in Kerry’s inspired idea. You know, the idea that was a slip of the tongue, that his own office tried to walk back, and that his master is now jumping on like a loose football in the end zone. His inspiration allowed Russia and Putin to separate 0bama from every vestige of what little international support he had, and made us look like fools, while preserving Russia’s position in Syria, and he didn’t have to give up anything.
“It looks like Syria is going to hide behind Russias skirt. What will President Obama do?”
The same. Only Obama will claim that he designed the skirt.
The Syrian Rebels have joined the large crowd under Obama’s bus.
"The USA has travelled from Shock and Awe to Aw-Shucks. That Kerry bloke should go and mind the family store- he might just keep it in business." - nickr
Kerry goes on to say....of course that will never happen....
Putin and Assad played the dummy for the dummy he is. I don’t recall the comedian who used to have the dummy which responded “so right, yes so right” but that is what Putin and Assad did to the dope. Neither have any actual plan to destroy or quaranteen those weapons as that would take quite a bit of time. One trap Putin may be laying for Obama, which he will promptly fall into, he may secure the storage areas with Russian troops and await an attack from the Rebels at which point he announces to save the world he used his military on Assad’s side against El Dope’s supported bunch of canibals making him look like a joke again.
Moral never play checkers with a chess master.
I don’t think so. He will continue to arm the rebels. Putin is laying one more trap for him. He will quaranteen the weapons with Ruskies and if the rebels try to get at them, he will use the Russian military to “save the world”.
El Dope will have no answer that that one especially when he goes on record supporting the rebels tonight in his speech.
(Wonder when obama will take credit for this)
BO said during the interview with Chris Wallace that he and Putin had discussed this during the G20. Of course, he’s going to claim credit!! The rest of the world will just see what a Dufus he is. As if Military action wasn’t the plan even after the UK Parliament vote.
This way, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate comes across as the warmonger, and the KGB guy comes across as the peacemaker.
What? You don't want to swoon and marvel at his genius while watching him take full credit for his brilliant diplomacy? (I'm making myself ill)
/s
(I'd bet he gives absolutely no credit to his fellow comrade, Vlad Putin, for pulling his chestnuts out of the fire.)
Yeah I’m happy to see this.
We simply don’t need another destabilized middle eastern nation.
Great discussion this AM about this subject:
