With support tanking in Congress for a US military strike on Syria, the big question is whether President Obama would go forward with an attack if Congress does not approve one...

This has always been more about Iran than Syria. Iran now has access to forward Syrian bases for its short range ballistic missiles. Unless there is a regime change in Syria and Iran is forced out of Syria, Israel will not be able to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities with impunity. A “limited strike” will achieve no strategic goals. Regime change will require a prolonged conflict with American boots and blood on the ground.

Personally I think Putin has brokered a deal where Assad will hand over some canisters of strong pesticide and Barry will then declare victory and back down.

B. Hussein promised to “Fundamentally change the United States of America,” and by my count, that is the ONLY promise that he has kept.
Why are they giving Syria a week, before a vote is taken? That tells me they’re going to strike regardless of a vote.
