The don't have to dissappear the press. They have the ability to detain, arrest, setup, and have fired most of their enemies in the press.
It would seem that ones that get 'dissappeared' are the fringe journalists that won't listen to reason or that would teach a lesson to the rest. I don't see a wholesale 'purge'. They're not ready yet.
