Perhaps it was the only way that they could figure out how to best a 107 year old man. That in itself is unfortunate but the real problem here is that the police need to start policing themselves. There are too many that are just cold blooded killers that hide behind a badge and play paramilitary commandos. Too many Barney Fifes out there that should not be issued bullets. If not for the constant barrage of reports of gung ho SWAT types killing the wrong people or Innocent family pets, you wouldn't have to defend against those who think that it's time to back off with the practice of killing first and asking questions later. If not for the hundreds of rounds fired every year at non criminals by police, you would not have to defend.

Do police everywhere a favor and demand professionalism and in time good cops won't be drug down by the trigger happy thugs that play commando.

No doubt there are some yahoo's and people that should not be Police Officers (in fact they should be in prison).

But they work for you. Get your A$$ and everyone else's A$$ down to City Hall and demand the Police to Police themselves. If they don't do it demand the City Council/Mayor/City Manager to do their job.

I was a LEO for close to 10 years. And the thing that pissed me off the most was bad Police Officers that should never have been issued a uniform. And yes we let our Brass know about.
