Putin preparing to show Obama how “Diplomatic compromise?” is still possible ...

‘Monday Meeting’....... Syria, Iran and Russia working on counter-proposal to U.S. strike.

The plan, which will be discussed by Putin and the Iranian FM on Monday, moots democratic transition in stages and expedited elections without Assad.

While United States President Barack Obama and his Secretary of State John Kerry continue their never-ending efforts to convince the Congress and America’s allies to support an attack on Syria, Iran and Russia are promoting a proposal for a diplomatic compromise that could prevent such an attack.

I just posted that Putins going to show Obama how to do this diplomatically.....he’s meeting with Syria and Iran tomorrow...they have a plan apparently which will not include Assad...

Stunning how over this past year Russia has taken the lead on the International stage..but our news doesn’t report on it!

HE’s hosted many International Conferences just in the past year....In Russia... we use to host. He is playing his cards and our media ignores it!

I think you could well be on to the truth, frankly.

And here we go.. limited strike turns into more extended one, then it turns into a full scale war... then Russia gets involved against us and we'll have a full fledged WW 3. Way to go, Obama -- when at this point there are NO US INTERESTS involved, but let's have a little war to distract for Obama's problems like Benghazi, the IRS scandal of targeting conservative groups, who knows what is really going on with the NSA, the Obamacare coming disaster and so on...

We've seen it all before. There is even a handy little term: Mission Creep....

It's not the left this time. They are against this adventure as much as the right is. This war is being sought by Obama and Kerry, and to a lesser extent by the neocon Republicans. No one else wants it.

Absolutely, spot on correct. Well said. Too bad the American people who re-elected not to mention elected in the first term weren't well educated enough to see him for what he is: An Islamist in Democrat (sheep's) clothing. I blame the public schools. For which I share a small measure of the blame. I'm an educator, after all with 24+ years on the job. I've tried my whole career to fight this sort of nonsense and it's getting very tiresome. I think in a few years I might retire.

Bears repeating from smoking Rep. Joe 'You Lie Obama' Wilson: "“Why was there no call for military response in April?” Wilson asked Secretary of State John Kerry during the hearing. “Was it delayed to divert attention today from the Benghazi, IRS, NSA scandals; the failure of Obamacare enforcement; the tragedy of the White House-drafted sequestration or the upcoming debt limit vote? Again, why was there no call for military response four months ago when the president’s red line was crossed?”

Why now? The Obamacare October 1st start 'deadline' and all the scandals. Typical Democrat - Start a war to get out of crises/scandals.

Any chance the Joint Chiefs will refuse?

’We’re not talking about war’: Kerry outlines ’unbelievably small’ strike on Syria

Which is it? Does the clown admin even have a plan? I seriously doubt it.........

A non-conservative friend in Europe said there's two ways to deal with Syria: total takeover like Germany at end of WW2 or do nothing. We don't have the political will to do the first so doing nothing seems appropriate. Half measures are failures.

The situation could easily be allowed to fester until the next Republican, where it'd be said he (or she) 'lied us into war,' and protests of 'no blood for oil' will be nightly news, etc.
