I see; I’d imagine the cat was let out of the bag here by someone either supporting another candidate or simply disgusted by Weiner’s behavior. I’d think usually nothing is said about it at all, and that this “astro-turf” is often rented by Dems to pretend there is popular support for a cause or candidate. The “Obama phone” lady was part of a group following Romney around in a bus several hundred miles from her home state; she was probably the same thing but doing it for a lot less.
