Phew. One ends wars by winning them, not running away from them.
Since there aren’t any good guys in Syria (except for the defenseless Christians and other non-Islamic groups), that means that this proposal for “war” is a deliberate “quagmire” instead.
Everytime I think of it, I’m amazed at how the world has turn’d upside-down-Putin, and Russia, are now the champions of Christian brothers being persecuted in Syria and the Middle East. I hope it’s more than just political talk-Christians there are a tiny, persecuted minority, and could easily just be wiped out permanently. God knows Hussein is more interested in getting more violent, illiterate, Muslim Somalis and AIDS-infested Haitians into the US, than in giving the truly persecuted, asylum (like Middle East Christians and white South Africans).
