Pretty much the same type of jihadist Reagan gave surface-to-air missiles to in order to bring down the Soviet Empire.
There should be a rational discussion if engaging in Syria is the best decision.
But lets not act as if the Right, Republicans, and Conservative Presidents have always had angles as foreign allies.
IMO the best outcome is for crazy Sunni and crazy Alawites-Shia to kill each other for the next 100 years.
If we do noting the Russian-Iranian backed Alawite government wins.

This is horrible. We are helping the wrong side. Words fail me, we are on the wrong side.
A side note, just tonight, after Mom and I got back from her breast doctor (she had a mastectomy, breast cancer, got it all from what they know but we are having wound issues) and we noticed a woman with a long caftan and a hajib walking the street of our neighborhood as we were eating. We have a new plan of high priced townhomes in our plan, very ritzy, so I assume she is from there. Anyhoo, Mom's eyes popped out and I almost snarfed on my drink. I know I should not hold all Islamsists suspect but still I am very wary of them until they prove to me otherwise and even so, that is a tall order. They are not compatible with our Western way of life.

Another thing Glenn has been covering, is that there is some doubt as to who exactly it was, that used the chemical weapons in the first place. The Russians say it was the so called "rebels". (And let's not forget that they (Russians) tried to warn us about the Boston bombers.)
From looking at this tape, and in light of the fact that some of these rebels have Al Queda ties, isn't it possible that they were the ones who did it?
And shouldn't we be sure before we go "helping" these people?
Why isn't the ever sacred "international community" on board with getting involved in Syria?
Why aren't we following their lead?
We are supposed to let them lead us right?
Has just about everyone on the planet gone completely mad?
