I don’t think I know of anybody else who believes that’s a good idea.
We may have more nukes than Russia .. but they have something we do not: A LEADER WHO DOES NOT BLUFF.
And .. while a lot of others may not realize it .. Putin could use Hezbollah to attack Israel; drawing them into the mess, and keeping Israel from being able to assist the US if necessary.
Liberals always get us into the biggest messes, and then it takes a bunch of steel-spined repubs to clean it up. I hope we have enough left to do the job.
Putin knows the harm that can be done by the radicals. We acted too late. Any moderates are long gone. Gee, maybe GWB had a good idea having U.S. Bases in Iraq and Afghanistan. Might have deterred Assad.
