I'd abstain as a pubbie ... let them vote it in ... and when the uproar is a cacophony of liberals against liberals ... call a vote for funding it ... wait while the vote is ongoing for the dimwits to cast their votes ... when they see so many voting against funding ... THEN jump in and vote no.

Sure it'll be spun as a pubbie blockade, but the fun of seeing whom's voting against THEIR CIC is priceless.

Either way ... the war never occurs and the enemies are (more) exposed.

Give her a little credit. She’s recognized the incoming train wreck and is trying to limit the damage loose lips can cause.

Perhaps the Congress (both Dems and Repubs) will vote NO for Zer0’s war on Syria. Parliament did to PM Cameron. Get a spine and cajones, Congress critters. America has NO business in the Syrian civil war!

I think that is is more complicated than that.

Obama got himself caught between a rock and hard place with the Muslim Brotherhood. While Obama was fully behind the Brotherhood, the Brotherhood was not fully behind Obama. Remember, “We are all Osamas, now Obama”?

Obama tried to use his lead from behind routine to support the Brotherhood, but the Brotherhood was having none of it. They wanted it all, and felt that Obama betrayed them when he went after Osama. Remember, Al Qaeda was actually started by the Brotherhood, and they wanted and expected full allegiance from Obama.

Remember also, that the Osama Bin Laden demands that were laid out by Bin Laden in 1998, were reiterated by the brother of Al Zawahiri two days before the Benghazi attack. Obama and Hillary were being warned that if they did not capitulate to the demands, the terror attacks would return.

So, while Obama still supports an Islamic caliphate, he is unsure of who should manage that caliphate. He seems to think that there are good and bad elements inside the Muslim Brotherhood.

Latest scuttlebutt is that he is hoping the thing gets filibustered in the Senate.

I see it passing the Senate then losing in the House. Obama then has a decision to make.
