China backs Russia over Syria at G20 summit [Obama FAILURE on worldwide display; US Media Silent]

China warned on Thursday that military intervention in Syria would hurt the world economy and push up oil prices, reinforcing Vladimir Putin's attempts to talk U.S. President Barack Obama out of air strikes.

The rift over Syria could overshadow a summit of the Group of 20 (G20) developed and developing economies in St. Petersburg at which global leaders want to forge a united front on growth, trade, banking transparency and fighting tax evasion.

The club that accounts for two thirds of the world's population and 90 percent of its output is divided over issues such as turmoil in emerging markets and the Federal Reserve's decision to end its program of stimulus for the U.S. economy.

But no rift is wider than the one between the U.S. and Russian leaders on possible military intervention in Syria to punish President Bashar al-Assad over a chemical weapons attack that killed hundreds of people on August 21.

Epic failure. If this were happening to Bush, every Democrat would be on tv, blasting him for incompetence...and the media would assist.

Instead, the media ignores the Clown's stupidity, and many Republicans are enabling these ignorant moves.

It is being reported Obama will not meet with Putin while in Russia for G20...seems unprofessional (passive aggressive) given current issues

10:15 GMT: UN special envoy to Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, will push for an international conference to find a political solution to the conflict in Syria during the G20 summit.

“While the world is focused on concerns about the possible use of chemical weapons in Syria we must push even harder for the International Conference on Syria to take place in Geneva,” said Brahimi in a statement.

Further friction on the fringes of the summit could be caused by Obama's plans to meet human rights activists including members of a gay rights group which staged protests against a law Putin signed banning "gay propaganda" among children.

In the future war with Iran - the U.S will need Russia ... a meeting with 'human rights activists' at this time feels of epic fail... and sabotage

It is being reported Obama will not meet with Putin while in Russia for G20..

That decision was actually made a month ago.

Abject, total failure... nothing else describes the Obama administration.

This is truly a dark era.

I heard an interesting eerily plausible interpretation of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse and 4 horses this morning.

It associated the Red Horse with Iraq, the Black Horse with Iran, the White Horse with the AntiChrist, Greece and Russia, and the Pale Horse with the Revived Roman Empire and South or African nations.

“China warned on Thursday that military intervention in Syria would hurt the world economy and push up oil prices,”

Why are they encouraging him?

Obama WANTS higher oil prices!

Especially if he can blame someone else.

Even CNN on their web page is really straining to support President Obama over this. They know that the opposition from both the Left and Right is intense, and can’t come to terms to say it....

The press hasn’t exactly been silent. They’ve been supporting the invasion, as far as I can tell. And it is an invasion, since if Z has his way, it will allow for those inevitable boots on the ground later.
