That brought a smile to my face.Not to mine. I suspect he's committed to amnesty, and understands that this means he won't be re-elected. But his backers have promised him a cushy retirement in exchange for getting it done.

-Is this because he wouldn't win anyway. Makes me worried about what he plans to do with issues involving immigration and Syria.
