The White House actually gave permission for this particular picture to be released (as with all images). You must ask yourself, “Why this picture? Why this time—hours after the British Parliament voted down Cameron’s proposal for military intervention in Syria?”
I interpreted this image of Obama disrespecting a historic gift from the British people as a middle finger to the British - American alliance in response to the rejection from Britain’s Parliament.
I disagree. They don't miss it, they recognize and support it.
