The Dim-Bulb-Question of the Day Award has to go to Rep. Bera (D.,CA) who, after sitting through three hours of Q & A’s, asked the troika panel “What can I tell my constituents back home when they’re worried and they ask me about this contemplated move against Assad?”
______________________________________________________________

Well, I would tell them “Don’t worry ‘bout it”. Your TV still works and your welfare check will still be coming.

Many on the left “dial a mob” groups are relatively quiet while their hero Bozo struts his stuff on the International and National stage.

When we recognize that these groups are simply called on..and lead... by political entities to stir, to incite, to hammer, etc. and have no useful purpose than that...then you can pretty much gage when they will or not come out.

Who sponsors all the posters reveals much.

I am more concerned about Syrian casualties due to our military action. I have no doubt that the civil war will continue until one side or the other wins militarily and there will be a bloodbath to conclude it.

I was in Iran when Khomeini replaced the Shah. Khomeimi killed off many of his opponents using Stalinist war trials. Assad is fighting for his life as are many of his supporters.

So many will continue to die....Remember...Middle Easterners do not see life as we do...they belong to death cults so it’s honorable to die...better then life.

I spent five years in Saudi Arabia including during Desert Shield/Storm and two years in Iran. Personally, I believe that this death cult and willing to die rather than capitulate is overblown. The Iraqis surrendered en masse including to newsmen. They didn't want to die for Saddam, And the mullahs in Iran do not want to commit suicide either by attacking Israel or us. The leaders of these countries want to survive and will do whatever is necessary to do so.

My son was in Desert Shield/Storm...

But my reference is that of the Jihadists and terrorists....but even as you say....right now there are those who have stated on both sides in Syria and among their military ready and willing for suicide missions against the US and any who come into their line of fire.

I disagree that the idea of dying isn’t formost among the people...they see death as a reward.....no matter how many troops in Iraq surrendered.....Syria is not to be compared...different war...different groups fighting...

RT @freddoso: Dick Durbin says he disagrees w Obama, but voted for the resolution anyway because Obama's heart is always in the right place.

We are going to have to disagree....I think.... when it comes to the motives of the Syrians and fighters in Syria, in how they see death.

Oh for crying out loud! This isn’t a matter of Obamas heart....give me a break...what an idiot! The guy couldn’t come up with a reasoned statement for voting for this than that!

We are so screwed with this government....just so done!

We will just agree to disagree. I have lived a total of nine years in three Muslim countries. They value the lives of their children just as much as we do. Tribalism and a biblical sense of justice coarsens the way they treat their enemies and those who violate their laws and mores.

I don't expect a large number of suicide attacks against us. Militarily, they present no real threat to us. Terrorism is the most likely retaliation against a military strike in Syria. None of the countries in the region want any such attacks to be overtly tied to them.

Perfect sales material for a democrat where obviously his constituents are against military action, but still adores Obama. They will buy it, hook, line and sinker.

We will ‘definately’ have to disagree kabar....perhaps you shouldn’t have lived among the Muslims so long...from the sound of your post I would have to determine so. The ‘facts’ of what Muslims believe, practice, and their behavior speak otherwise.
