It disturbs me that a lawmaker could be this uninformed. A Christian shouting “Thank God” is not trying to kill you. If you hear somebody shout “Allah Akbar,” you’d better hit the dirt. He’s going to try to kill you.

The Takbīr or Tekbir (تَكْبِير) is the Arabic term for the phrase Allāhu Akbar (الله أكبر). The phrase literally means "God is greater". Islamist Superiority. Not "great". "Greatest". "Your G-d sucks, our G-d can kick your G-d' a$$" is the message.
