NEW YORK -- After LeBron James won his second NBA championship this year, he talked about the improbability of his journey -- ascending to world fame despite growing up with challenge after challenge in the inner city.
Now James plans to explore that theme as part of "Survivor's Remorse," a new show he's developing with Starz.
While he won't star in the half-hour sitcom, the Miami Heat superstar will be one of the executive producers of the show, which will explore the lives of two men from the streets who attain fame -- one is an NBA star and one is not -- and how they deal with friends and families in the wake of that success.

Try as he does, he’ll never be another Michael Jordan. He lacks the charisma. With all the tattoos, he just comes off as a punk thug. When his playing days are over, he’ll be forgotten.
LeBron James is a married family man with kids. He's about as much of a thug as Thomas Sowell is.
LeBron has absolutely no criminal record and you never hear tales of him acting thuggish in public. In a league with a fair number of thugs, LeBron is not one of them.
Boy,I bet that’ll be a laugh riot.Good God,unless the guy went absolutely crazy,spending-wise,during his playing days he’s gotta have a net worth of $50 million (plus) today. And endorsements can easily bring him a couple of million a year for the next 20 years. Why a sitcom?????
Tall as Two-and-a-Half Men
