Obama met with Congressional leaders this morning.

Apparently, per FoxNews, it wasn't much of a sales meeting, because it only lasted about 15 minutes.

==

But, just by meeting with them, Obama has shifted any future blame onto the Congress — more specifically, the Republicans in Congress.

Meanwhile, John McCain is making the rounds to the news programs. He is jumping up and down that the Syrian rebels are not being armed and are, thus, outmatched, because Russia and Iran are helping arm the Assad regime.

==

FoxNews is running the video of the Obama-Congressional leaders conference now.

Obama is giving an opening speech [Not much different that was he said Saturday]. “This is not Iraq and it is not Afghanistan.”

[No. It is Syria. Syria is a different country. Check the elementary school globe. (/snarky remark)]

Obama: “I look forward to listening to the concerns who are here today ...”

Somebody off camera asked a question.

Obama: “... we're going to send a clear message to Assad ... thank you bye [Obama runs out of the room, probably has a T-time at the golf course (/snarky remark)].

==

So, to summarize, Obama gives 5-minute spiel to the Congresspersons, takes one question, and exits as fast as he can.

FoxNews reports that the meeting is still going on, so it must with Cabinet and advisers.

Absolutely. Obama will blame congress in a heartbeat. You can be sure he’s spending more time on this strategy than on the attack plans for Syria.

Unfortunately, the ‘it is republicans fault’ meme is working on low info voters already thanks to useful idiots like McCain and Graham. I heard a low info friend say last night that ‘Obama is being pushed into this war..that he doesn’t want it’. I almost came unglued but remembered the person does not follow anything but what she sees on CNN and very little at that..sad but true.

Limbaugh Theorum at work. Obama will not be blamed for any of this.

All he had to do was remind them that he has dirt on all of them (the Republicans). So they will have to take the blame for this mistake too.
