**SNIP**

Meanwhile, the president didn't have to look far to find those opposed to the idea of a U.S. strike against the Assad regime. Some of the very vocal opposition was heard right outside the Oval Office.

"President Obama, take your hands off Syria!" declared one protester.

Outside the White House on Saturday, protesters called possible military action in Syria illegal and immoral.

"The American people are opposed to it," said another person.

There were dozens of people, like 28-year-old Lana Ismail. "In war, the first thing to go is the truth," she said.

What a unique man this 0bama is. He truly is bringing us together. Why, just a few years ago I would have spat on smelly left-wing kooks protesting American intervention overseas. Now I’m ready to go hug them.

Members of Congress must understand that authorization for a “limited strike” is the equivalent of a declaration of war on Syria. There is no such thing as a limited strike. The US may find itself in the middle of a wider, bloody conflict. Americans do not want to go to war in the Mideast. Any member that votes for war must be held accountable and punished severely.

You are correct. There are no degrees to Acts of War. Either you commit an Act of War, or you do not.

Launching missiles into the territory of another sovereign state is an Act of War.

The Japanese thought that December 7, 1941 was a “limited strike.”

Rep. Janice Hahn - (D- California) just told Wolf Blitzer her vote is NO...

“I’m not there yet,” says Rep. Janice Hahn (D-Calif.). “I feel terrible about the chemical weapons that have been used. However, we know that chemical weapons have been used in other instances, and we did not take military action.”

The protest was organized by the communist front group ANSWER. Head pinko Brian Becker was featured in the report. Not mentioned of course is that Becker aligned with state sponsors of terrorism Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and North Korea against the U.S.

“I’m not there yet,” from a democrat in Congress roughly translates as “but with some more 0bama dollars from your stash to my district, I will be.”

This is the one and only time I will side with liberals. NO to Syria. I wonder if this was the flexibility obama told Medvedev he would have after re-election. Obama seems to have a falling out with Putin. Russia and Iran threaten Israel if Obama attacks. Obama telegraphs his points of attack to the Syrians, missiles hit nothing important and Russia and Iran attack Israel.

I think we all know obama hates Netanyahu, and Israel.

We are in most of these problems because we refused to actually wage war. Instead it has been a series of limited strikes and mass build ups with the assured (literally) draw down publicly stated.
Since the United States Government is largely defunct and corrupt theses days, any sane American wants nothing more to do with war; its just a waste of life and the outcome is (as of recent decades) the same, America leaves the place more fucked up than when it went in. We can’t even tell what f-ing side we are on anymore. Its not American’s fault, it is American politics fault. DC is too far gone.

Cindy Sheehan is a fairly consistent communist and a pacifist. She’s voted against Obama and is against Obama’s wars. She’s not a Democrat, so she has outlived her usefulness to the Democrat Party’s spokesmen in the MSM. That’s why you haven’t seen her in the news.
