The rest of the world could fall off the map, and Texas is good for 'lectrickity since we're not really tied to the national electric grid.

I am not sure how he plans to achieve it...was just glad to see there’s people in power thinking this way!
Secure the borders of Texas and pretend the rest of the world doesn't exist.

The U.S. needs Texas a lot more than Texas needs the U.S.
Its already in play...If the union goes insolvent...Texasxwill take a tremendous hit, but unlike many other states in this union, we have the infrastructure to sustain an economy and security that can be implemented fairly quickly...
What will be a problem will be the rapid influx of refugees trying to get in before we can effectively lock it all down...It’ll be messy, but I believe it will work itself out in short order...
