Ousted Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi is to stand trial in a criminal court for "incitement to murder", state television reported on Sunday without giving a date for the trial.
It said he will stand trial along with 14 other suspects in his Muslim Brotherhood movement on charges of "incitement to murder and violence" in December 2012 when deadly clashes broke out between his supporters and opponents outside the presidential palace.
Already accused of crimes related to his 2011 escape from prison, Morsi has been held at a secret location since his ouster by the army on July 3.
The co-defendants in the trial include senior Brotherhood figures Mohamed al-Beltagi and leaders such as Essam el-Erian, deputy head of the Freedom and Justice Party, the Brotherhood political wing.
Last December, thousands of demonstrators gathered in front of the presidential palace in Cairo to protest against a presidential decree that expanded Morsi's powers and an Islamist-drafted constitution.
An Egyptian court in July ordered Morsi's detention for questioning over alleged ties with Palestinian militants in prison breaks and attacks on police.
Egypt has pressed a fierce campaign against the Brotherhood since the former president's ouster and effectively decapitated the Islamist group by arresting its supreme guide Mohamed Badie in late August.
Authorities have also arrested more than 2,000 Brotherhood figures since Morsi's ouster.

There is a possibility that the Egyptian military will ferret out the facts because they have Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood senior operatives who I am sure were involved and know what happened. I pray they do and then document it for the whole world to see. The know the Obama administration and his cronies are theior enemies, but they still trust the American people and our underlying foundational principles.
Abject, high treason and its stench fill the air in our nation. I pray to God in Heaven we can clearly identify the source and cleanse this nation of it.

See how that works? I never saw the Egyptian Army roundup of Morsi as a coup, koo, coo ( whatever). I always said it was much closer to impeachment. When a new leader starts violating the constitution he was elected under he ought to be impeached post haste. Don’t know whether the Egypt constitution prescribes a specific method but the army figgered one out. And don’t forget it is still the young, westernized , folks in Egypt who have had a bellyfull of heavy-handed gov’t krap——that very large force is still out there.

With all these developments in the Arab worlds, I’m thinking that a couple more could be the Tipping Point...I’ll provide the popcorn when he implodes from the pressures his girly countenance can’t handle.

Obama.....who adores Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood America haters, supported the Muslim Brotherhood government of nutcases, as they systematically destroyed the Egyptian economy, including the most lucrative sector, tourism!!!
Morisi and the Brotherhood knew the way to control the masses was to take away their freedom and independence that a free, consumer driven market creates. Obama is doing the same thing here.....only Americans do not realize it, fools that they are!!! Now.....The Egyptian military knows the game, just as the German high command had Hitler wired from the getgo!!! The Egyptian military, howvever will do what the German high command could not....although they tryed many times. They will take the Muslim Brotherhood apart, piece by piece starting with Morsi until the Brotherhood is no more!!! Egypt lives on...no thanks to our POTUS Obama!!!

Hey! Don’t forget Obama can give asylum to Morsi’s two sons who were born in the USA. Then Obama can rally a sympathy movement for the boys with all the other Muslims in his government along with all other Muslims in the USA plus fun loving USA citizens to run one of the boys for POTUSA, they are eligible according to some people, and have Pelosi stack the deck for a win-that is for the Muslems and especially the Saudi King with his oil. The Bushs should be happy.
Not buying that anything is gonna be done about this guy. There’s a better chance of him being reinstated than there is of anykind of punishment whatsoever dished out to the guy.
