Yesterday afternoon, Russia agreed to restructure Cyprus' EUR 2.5 billion loan terms to a much more affordable 2.5% semi-annual coupon through 2016 and a principal re-payment over the following four years.
While probably still out of reach for the desparate economy, it was a positive step.
Of course, this 'offer' by Russia has its quid pro quo. This morning, Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides has stated that Cyprus territory will not be used to launch military strikes against Syria, as "Cyprus wants to live up to its responsibility as a shelter if needed for nationals of friendly countries who evacuate from Middle East". It would appear Obama's influence is fading everywhere...
Cyprus is located ~183 nautical miles west of Syria and is the EU member nearest to Syria. Russia restructures Cyprus loan (via ITAR-TASS - ):
My pleasure.
Much of the book is sheer brilliance and scary how it portrays the future we may be looking at one day.
Great job bud.
YOu should send a coy to Mark Levin, you never know.
FNS
Female panelist [Jennifer Rubin] on FoxNews Sunday said that Obama has reversed himself 5 times on Syria in recent months.
No wonder many potential coalition allies are running away from any Syrian involvement with Obama.
http://sp.values.com/inspirational-stories-tv-spots/99-The-Greatest This is a clear analogy of Zero’s foreign policy.
Exactly Tom and you are correct. What is really scary is the thousands + EO’s that zero has signed(you can be sure he didn’t author) and all the damage that is being done by the Czars that we will find out about when the regime is finally gone.Great catch.
According to post #74 by bray the author, its a few months away from being published.I’m hoping it’s a best seller, great read.
I forced myself to listen to the haughty John "F" Kerry (who once served in Viet Nam by the way) at the risk of nausea, I was not disappointed. Just like O'Bomber, I can't stand to listen to the sound of the fool's voice nor the crap coming out of his mouth.
As long as Syria is in the news big time will anyone care about Benghazi, the IRS screwing the tea Party, nsa spying one everything that makes a sound or prints a sentence or a myriad of other scandals which are all now on the backburner of the media?
What actually needs to be shouted from the rooftops is the dots being connected regarding Benghazi and Sadaam Hussein's missing poison gas "WMDs".
bray is absolutely correct about who is gassing whom as well...The video above shows terrorists shooting off chem weapons in Syria.
I didn't believe a word O'Bomber, Kerry, or anyone else has said regarding placing the blame on A$$head. This vile effort appears to be simply another overt attempt to give aid and comfort to the enemy...alkida.
What a pathetic mess.
Agreed PB, Al Queda and Obama are on the same page with Israel and the West. Becoming energy independent would begin to starve the terrorists and force them to fight each other.
An attack on Israel will be ignored by the regime.
I’m thinking that Obama, the one that makes everything political, is looking for an out. He has backed himself into a corner with his red line comment and now must find a way to do what he likes to do best: blame everyone else. He probably knows that Congress will vote his operation down either genuinely or with help from his conspirator democrats. After Congress votes it down he will say, “see I wanted to do this, but those evil Republicans, the party of no, won’t let me.” If they do give him permission, he will push for lots of money in the new budget or to get rid of the sequestration. Just speculation and an opinion on my part. We will see.
Oh thanks, we didn't know that.
Who? The President. The president is the one right behind Obama, as seen in this picture.
Actually, when I first saw this picture, I thought it was Mick Jagger!
When the final book is done I plan on sending copies to a number of people. The publisher has a pretty in depth marketing dept that puts you on different radio and TV programs.
I think they are planning on focusing on Texas but Levine would love the book as would Rush. I think Rush would enjoy the fantasy world it takes you to.
If this administration was a TV show Ted Mack would be the emcee.
When dealing with Dems, if you look the exact opposite of what they are saying you usually find the truth. When Obozo says the sun is out, bring an umbrella.
UN briefing on crisis in Syria.
Spokesperson: Use of chemical weapons will not be tolerated. If they are used, the perpetrator nation will be dealt with.
[So, who is going to enforce that?]
True, but she doesn't even need them.
Go ahead Governor Palin, ask Kerry anything you want.
I CAN’T WAIT!!!!
This will be my Christmas gift to all my friends!( and former friends who are Libs..ha)
Your post today is Awesome...it will go to all my email contacts!!
pathetic mess...you summed it up well!
a true tragedy ..this is a CF on steroids!
Stunning the caked powder SOS Kerry laid into. The corpse look is not in fashion.
