Wouldn’t this pattern of ribbons on his uniform be very unique? Wouldn’t this identify him rather quickly?

I know little about this and would appreciate any comments from those that do.

one of my first thoughts. hopefully, it’s not enough to find him, because the progressives want to get rid of all military personnel that are not aligned with the party

once this idiot is gone, the command staff that is in place needs to be reviewed

If the ribbons don’t identify him, they sure narrow down the search. Add to that all the embedded data in the digital photo he uploaded. With what we are learning about the government’s abilities to track emails, calls, and so forth, I’m sure they already know who he is.

Yep, the ribbons would go a long way towards identifying him. All it would take is noting down the ribbons, and doing a quick service-record database search for the set of people with that set of awards. Then look at the service record photos and see which matches the best (paying particular attention to the ear), and/or who has a connection to the guy whose FaceBook account it was posted under.

If he was smart, he's have removed some of his real ribbons, and added some from a friend.
