Actually there was more than just one dead man. There were six concentration camp inmates dressed in Polish uniforms and given a slow-acting lethal injection. Heydrich at one time was about the most sinister and feared person in Nazi Germany. He had the goods on everybody, from his own boss Heinrich Himmler to Hitler himself. When he got bumped off there were a whole lot of fat cats in the Third Reich sleeping a little more sound at night.
There was some who insinuated that Heydrich was part Jewish. But it’s true, there were few tears shed when Heydrich was killed, other than by Hitler, who loved the guy, and made sure no one, even Himmler could do anything to him.
