I was a police office for several years in the 50’s and it was not unusual to see creepie guys hanging out near public restrooms. We usually just told them to “move along.”

There are probably normal gay people, but there is a gay contingent from whom you really can see that their brand of sex is just one part of some type of much deeper problem. Like FReeper JohnO says: For a Hetero, sex is what you do. For a Homo, sex is what you are.
