Sounds good.
(Or just go to your local public community college and either pay the very low fees... or see their nice Financial Aid staff for scholarships, grants, loans, work-study, and fee waivers. Anybody needing the first two years of college can get it for free, or nearly free, right now...).
The door is open...for all those interested....

Free? Yeah, right.

Public high school is supposed to be free. It looks like they are adding an advanced technical curriculum to high schools in some places as well as community colleges in others.

NYC gets a coveted high-tech school

New York City will be home to one of the 16 schools participating in a public-private partnership program that offers students a high school diploma and an associate's degree at no extra cost, as well as the opportunity to land jobs at participating companies.

Mostly a bunch of double talk. Doesn’t say anything. Doesn’t say that associate degrees in science for any specific course of study. All of the money will be spent by the educators studying and planning with few or no students ever enrolled and graduated.

“The program builds on the success of IBM’s Pathways in Technology Early College High School, or P-TECH, which opened in 2011 in Brooklyn.”
