Whatever the heck you want to call what we did in Libya did not satisfy the Powell Doctrine.

Interesting wording there, considering that we didn't so much as raise an eyebrow when the Syrian rebels, including one group controlled by Al Qaeda, captured a military base where Assad was rumored to have a stockpile of Sarin gas.

Wouldn't that qualify as allowing "those weapons" to "transfer.....to terrorists"?

The only thing that matters is the Obama Doctrine: the unilateral use of military force to preserve the credibility of the Commander-in-Chief.

Under the Obama Doctrine the mission must be vital to protect his image. Any resulting damage to the country is an acceptable trade-off in order to maintain this singular objective. /sarc
