One of the teens charged with beating to death a World War II veteran allegedly claimed he was buying crack cocaine from the 88-year-old and the transaction turned violent but cops said there is no evidence to support that.
The allegation was denounced as bizarre by victim Delbert Shorty Beltons family and even dismissed by the defense lawyer for the other teen accused in the Spokane, Wash., case, which has drawn national attention.

DeMarquis Elkins, 17 at the time, deliberately murdered 13-month-old Antonio Santiago in his stroller, because Antonios mother carried no money when Elkins and an accomplice tried to rob her.
And Delbert was probably an East coast rapper.
Geez , this kid is a tard.
Just die....
Beware of 88 year old WWII vet crack dealers.
Justice for Shorty
One of Obama’s sons strikes out again.
I guess after they bought the crack they were going to party with a bunch of ex-hookers in their 70s and 80s.
Well maybe. Some of the teen o sons seem to have a thing for elderrly white women.
Smooth move Ex-lax!...Not!
i think they were robbing the 88-year old to then go by crack.
Well, if you’re chicken s**t enough to beat an old, wounded man to death, then you’re chickens**t enough to lie about it. They’ll be claiming he was a zombie.
D’Markey....originally just “looked” like a despicable punk...now we have to add SIMPLE MINDED to that definition ?
Makes sense, doesn’t it? After all, the cops said Belton did get all violent with the victims. sarc/
“One of the teens charged with beating to death a World War II veteran allegedly claimed he was buying crack cocaine from the 88-year-old and the transaction turned violent ”
Yet his mouthpiece says there is nothing connecting them to what happened. So after the 88 year old beat them both up and scared them away, someone else came along and killed him?
To bad ole Shorty wasn’t packing a Smith and Wesson Snubbie .....
The fact that the media even asked the family about it shows the media is taking the allegation seriously.
“We have a collective responsibility to make sure these types of events don’t happen and that our children don’t wind up in these situations,”
In other words, it’s (creepy ass cracker) societies fault. The blame for this is already being shifted away from the killers.
I believe the cops had it right when stating there was no evidence to suggest any type of a drug deal going bad.
Shoot the two little ba$tards and save the state some money.
Better yet, sell lottery tickets to see who gets to pop ‘em and give the proceeds from the ticket sales to Shorty’s family.
Guess I’m becoming a racist and these kinds of articles only enhance the transition.
We have a collective responsibility
