I would like to see the evidence that Assad is responsible for this chemical attack.
I am no fan of Assad but it makes little sense for Assad to use chemical weapons when he is winning the war. The rebels have every reason to use chemical weapons and blame Assad to get the US into the war and weaken Assad. I have seen many articles for months now showing the rebels with chemical weapons: testing them, etc. So if anyone has proof, please let me know. So far the only thing I have heard is a “communications intercept.” But is that really proof? If the rebels are trying to get us to bail them out, isn’t it possible for them to fake this as well?
