Exactly what I was thinking...anytime something happens like this it would do well to figure with the MBS in mind...they want nothing more than this war and to see Assad gone....so they will do everything possible to instigate all sides.

The idea being to keep the International Communities focus on ‘what they want’ ...not... ‘what they are doing’. Same way they did in Egypt.

Unconfirmed rumor MEl..and interesting..SISI closing the Suez to warships that oppose Syria...has to do with a defense pact Egypt has with Syria...

And by the way....Russia’s agreement with Egypt does NOT include a requirement that Russia protect Syria with its Military might....Putin’s decision if and when he wants to or not.

Saudi’s military is on full alert...Aug.28,2013

The Saudi Army is on full alert since today due to the increased possibility of a military attack by the U.S. military against Syria.

The ground force operations command of the Saudi Army has ordered all the military units in Saudi Arabia to stand at a level 2 alert. ....according to the news website of Al-Ahd (Arabic).

However,.... some rumors also said that Putin has made some recent statements in terms of the Saudi regime and a possible military strike against Saudi Arabia....

..... The rumours say that the Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered a massive military strike against Saudi Arabia in case the West launches its military attack on Damascus.

However, such rumours are what they are – rumours till it is happening.

An excerpt of the article about the order by Putin for an immediate military strike on Saudi Arabia in case the West is launching its attack on Syria:

.......A grim “urgent action memorandum” issued today from the office of President Putin to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is ordering a “massive military strike” against Saudi Arabia in the event that the West attacks Syria................According to Kremlin sources familiar with this extraordinary “war order,” Putin became “enraged” after his early August meeting with Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan ...who warned that if Russia did not accept the defeat of Syria, Saudi Arabia would unleash Chechen terrorists under their control to cause mass death and chaos during the Winter Olympics scheduled to be held 7-23 February 2014 in Sochi, Russia.

So, while the Saudi Army has also urged all its military units to send daily reports to the command headquarters, the Iranian administration has rejected the recent rumours about a trip by the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to the Iranian capital, Tehran.

Russia apparently says he’ll aim for Israel and Saudi....Iran will aim for them as well...and then we’ll have the makings for ‘pre’-armageddon type of senerio

If this goes thru and the USA and allies go into Syria... I ‘m inclined to think Russia Iran and even Turkey possibly will make a dash for Israel and of course all the Jihadists and Muslims who want Israel off the map.......and if they do Russia and the hoards will loose big time! You can bank on that...and it won’t be a military that comes in to protect Israel either!

Wouldn’t they all like to get the USA, Britain, France and GErmany all focused on Syria and then make their move toward Israel...I think possible...time will tell...

Yea, but at least Bush spoke to the American people and he made is case to congress about Iraq. Then, congress approved of Iraq. But, O has done nothing, plus I think if he went to congress right now - it would get shot down and he knows it.

Also, an important note to make - the situation with Iraq went on for years. Saddam Hussein even admitted to WMD’s. It was proved he had used them in the past. Inspectors were in and out of there, sometimes allowed, sometimes not. So, the situation with Iraq did not come out of thin air - like this situation in Syria.

My goodness, what a mess!

Something else is going on. I thought maybe it was about weakening Syria’s military so the MB would gain ground. But, now I’m even not sure about that. It appears to be something different. This certainly is not about gas and his concern for the Syrian people, that is for sure. There are atrocities going on all over this globe - and he picks this one to start a war over - something is way off base.

The 370-word motion drawn up for debate today seems tailored to ensure the Prime Minister avoids losing face – and the vote.

With Labour demanding that UN weapons inspectors reports be made available before any military intervention by Britain, and an open revolt by many Tory MPs, the Government has had to risk upsetting America by promising yet another Commons vote before any action is taken.

Even that may not be enough to satisfy the Labour party, however. Many of its MPs consider the threat of force to be ill-considered and potentially highly dangerous, given the unstable nature of Syria and of the whole region, and are unhappy to sanction anything without a Security Council resolution – which appears impossible, given Russian objections.

No..not off base at all...except nobody’s letting Obama have his way, in his time, as he wants,.....all this is to Obama is protecting his Presidency without any smears before he leaves...too late.

The idea is to neutralize Iran by taking control of Syria..Iran’s right hand man. This is how Obama wants it played...and our congressional people. But they are sooo wrong in their assessment of the situation.

Russia can threaten attacking Saudi..and Israel..and has if Syria’s touched by us....thus touching the USA via stopping oil production.. and the “little satan” Israel, since we’re the big Satan” in the eyes of the Muslim world. Russia’s playing hardball...

We are watching the game of hellfire and brimestone heating up...because the US is messing with Russia via Syria. Nothing complicated about it.
