New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg wrote a personal check for $350,000 to Taxpayers for Responsible Democracy, the issues committee fighting the recalls targeting Senate President John Morse and Sen. Angela Giron.
...
Billionaire Eli Broad also wrote a $250,000 check to the organization, which raised a total of $708,000 in contributions between April and Aug. 22.
With exactly two weeks remaining until the Sept. 10 recall elections that will determine the fate of Morse and Sen. Angela Giron, D-Pueblo

I would dearly love to see “bloomingidiot” lose his money.
I will pray for that.
It’s way past time to start taking down these neo-Nazi jews like bloomberg. Everyone is afraid because you might be called an anti-semite.
Screw that. I worked for Israeli companies for five years. Bloomberg is a Nazi pig. If anyone has a problem with that, GFY.
Lots of NY money flowing into the recall.
We expected this. Communists stick together
Oh, and I suppose that there are no “neo-Nazi” non-Jews, eh? Only Jews? You can criticize Bloomberg (be my guest!) without painting all Jews with the same brush. GFY right back.
I truly wish they’d recall that b___h Gillibrand. She is a worse than useless truly dangerous demagogue.
Lots of NY money flowing into the recall.
Yep. The perverse combination of east coast and European money and the Republican party's weakness handed both houses of the Colorado legislature and the governor's office to representatives of the Democratic [sic] party in 2012. They didn't waste any time passing anti-Second Amendment bigotry laws.
It is up to the people of Colorado to kick these jerks out of office.
As I understand the process, first they must be recalled, then we decide who replaces them.
The good news is you must vote in person.
We need large conservative turn out!
If a majority of participants vote No in the recall, the official whom the recall was filed against will remain in their position. If there is a majority of Yes votes, then the new official will be the candidate on the list with the most votes.

For as active as I am in CO politics, I can’t figure out why I haven’t been hit up for contributions to GOP candidates.
Gonna give some folks an ear full at our Friday a.m. meeting.
The resistance needs help! Please pitch in, even if it’s just a little bit. A win here will set them way back.

OHHHH!
My County Chair just enlightened me.
In each case the GOP has the only alternate candidate on the ballot.
So, If we win “Yes” on the recall, and our candidate gets only 1 vote, he wins.
Keep the money coming, as we only have a fraction that the gun grabbers have!!
"With only two weeks left, we need your help!
We are two weeks away from the first recall election in Colorado's history and we could not have gotten this far without your help. As always, we are grateful for every dollar and every minute you have shared in getting us here in defense of our rights. But - also as always, it seems - we are not yet out of the woods.
We at the Basic Freedom Defense Fund have done exactly what we promised to do - we've given our fellow citizens a chance to make their voices heard, despite having been silenced and ignored by the people we pay to represent us. We fought with everything we had to get the question "Shall John Morse be recalled from office?" on a ballot. But it's not enough.
As consumed as our lives have been by this recall effort, it's shocking to us to find that many district voters still aren't aware that an election is imminent. Some believe that the question will be on the general ballot in November. Some believe that getting the petition signatures certified was enough to ensure that John Morse would be removed. Some believe that the election is still mail-in-only and they will patiently wait for a ballot that will never arrive. All are wrong and risk squandering the opportunity we've afforded them.
We need to reach out to these people and educate them before it's too late. And we need your help - again - to make that happen.
It's our goal to launch a final educational campaign in Senate District 11 and the surrounding areas, alerting district voters to the details of the upcoming election and asking those outside the district to pitch in and spread the word. It will cost money that we simply do not have and that is not forthcoming from other groups or parties.
However, this mailing list has over 2,500 recipients. If everyone reading this gave even $10, we would have more than enough funding to contact the citizens of Colorado Springs with the information they need to finish what we began and to bring accountability to John Morse and other politicians of his ilk.
Any amount will help and we won't be asking again. Because, in two very short weeks, this will be over - one way or the other. If you can give, do give and take this last chance to remind our legislators that "we, the people" still own our rights - and they are not for sale.
With Sincerest Thanks,
The Basic Freedom Defense Fund"
I think that if enough people get informed we will win this, even with all the disinformation radio adds being funded by the likes of Bloomberg. The adds are truly disgusting!
