Actually he should have given the Ayatollah the same treatment first since they were #1) closer to building The Bomb and #2) much more fanatically islamic than Saddam Hussein who was about as muslim as Ted Kennedy was catholic (only when it benefited him polically).
The late Kadaffy (another politically expedient muslim)was a participant in the War On Terror especially against Al Queda. Now the floodgates in North Africa are wide open. Furthermore, the reason we got involved in Libya was to keep the European oil flowing although I'm sure Obama knew he could give the country to his Islamist buddies which was his real intent, just like Egypt.
We are not the powerhouse we were under Bush. We've fallen under this current government, we're closer to what France was in the 1990s. That's sad and should never be celebrated, especially by a Freeper.

After Assad crossed the first red line Obama wanted so badly to have him cross a second red line and when he didn't Obama pulled a FAST AND FURIOUS in Syria to make it look like another red line was crossed.
Yup, during our so called "no fly zone" enforcement in Libya we were confiscating Al Qaeda weapons in Afghanistan and arming Al Qaeda in North Africa.

So far Obama hasn't done a single thing against Assad's and he clearly doesn't want to. His "red line" statement was an ad libbed off-the-cuff bluff that he never intended to back up with action. Obama does not care at all how weak this makes him or the USA look. Obama wants us to look weak.
If he strikes Syria at all it won't be hard enough. He won't destroy Assad air force because Putin and the commie UN didn't give him permission for a no-fly zone. That should make you happy.
