“Our information is that the individual fought back and that may have made this, you know, a worse situation,” Spokane police Chief Frank Straub said.
He probably was going to blame him for getting killed because "he got outa da car" without police permission -- but he didn't. He was killed in his car. He had nowhere to retreat to.
This police chief needs to be fired.
