Anyone watch the movie FELLINI SATYRICON?

Perversity in ancient ROME almost at it’s worst. Only the movie CALIGULA (the porn version) was worse.

Satyricon was a great movie, possibly Fellini’s best. The so-called porn was incidental. The movie Caligula was a crude piece of garbage, with nothing in common with Satyricon other than that they are both set in Rome.

You mean to say its worst, not it’s worst. It’s is the contraction for “it is”.

Haven't even heard of "FELLINI SATYRICON"

Only the movie CALIGULA (the porn version) was worse.

Much to my regret and discredit, yes I am familar with that "film" Bad acting, bad set design bad everything...

But probaly a good description of the depravity of Rome during that time.

I suggest watching "I, Claudius", available at Netflix I imagine, for a better performance piece of that period. It is a British drama series that does have some nudity but not as nearly graphic as "Caligula"

And you will see some old familar faces of British actors when they were young...

I did. Fellini portrayed well the decadence, including gay weddings and Arab like pirates slaughtering the parties.
