My point is that, for the most part, Christians have grown up and are more tolerant, while Islam has not, if it ever will. Your hateful posts make me wonder about some Christians.

Other mass murders of Jews in Muslim controlled lands occurred in Morocco in the 8th century, Muslim ruler "Idris I" wiped out whole communities.

It doesn't include massacres of Christians or Hindus for example, and it doesn't include forced conversion (or death or expulsion which usually resulted in "death marches"). You can look all these up yourself, you don't need me to do it. Whomever taught you that Jews (or any other religion)lived in Muslim ruled lands in peace obviously lied to you.

The coronation was in 1189, and the massacre in York did not occur until 1190. There was violence against Jews during the coronation but it certainly wasn't in celebration of the coronation. It was a group of rabble rousers that were jealous of the gifts being given to Richard by the Jews and spread the rumor that the new king had ordered all Jews to be killed. The Jews in England were afraid of the their property being seized, debts to them discharged, and being expelled like they were from France, so they had been quite generous with their gifts. Richard executed the worst of the perpetrators and passed an edict that put Jews under his personal protection guarantying their property rights. Obviously this didn't stop the massacre at York. While this is was horrible at least some of the perpetrators were punished and it was not done at the order of the ruler.
This is a stark contrast to Muslim held lands were Jews were slaughtered at the order of the rulers pretty much constantly.
To be blunt Jews were screwed pretty much anywhere they went, however the claim that they were treated better in Muslim held lands is simply baseless. The only people I have ever heard say that Jews lived peacefully in Muslim held lands were Muslims. However, one can point to a large scale massacre of Jews by Muslims (larger that York certainly) almost every decade from the time Muslims started conquering the middle east until 1947. This of course ignores the slaughter of Christians, Pagans, Buddhists, Hindus (or whatever religion) that always occurred in any lands the Muslims conquered.

I don't blame you and I'm right there with you. Muslims hate Christians almost as much as Jews and that have a particular hatred for America (right after Israel of course). They are infesting Europe and add thier population boom to the rise of militant socialism, things are looking to get pretty rough.
