I may be alone here, but I am backing this approach. We cannot allow WMDs to be used against the innocent. I don’t care what the left said about W and Iraq. Bush was right, and this is right.

And -IF- WMDs were actually used, how are you so sure WHO used them? Ask yourself, who benefits? The Syrian government was winning, and the Al Qeida Christian murdering rebels were told “a gas attack will bring the USA in on their side. And presto, we get a gas attack!

This “gas attack” is propaganda right up there with Germans bayoneting Belgian babies in WWI, and Iraqis throwing babies out of incubators in Kuwait. All fake, designed to get us into the war.

And remember, Benghazi was a CIA weapons running operation to give weapons to the Syrian rebels. The Libyans had a huge chemical stockpile. There are too many lies here to simply say “people were gassed”, and wade into a senseless Islamic civil war.

So, to ‘protect the innocent’, just where do we cut off the World Police/Charity? Where does it start? Where does it end?

The starving/genocide in Africa/N. Vietnam/etc.? Women and children in Muslim countries (rape/sex trafficking/stoning/etc.)? Christian prosecution/execution in Muslim countries?

Roll in and force ‘democracy’ upon them? Whose sons/daughters will we sacrifice? Whose wallets will we drained (and ‘those in the know’ made rich)? And when it fails, as it will (and always has), how many more tries are offered...or do we base it off the military (ours) body count?

There’s the problem w/ the non-isolationist view.

The civilized world CANNOT abide the use of such weapons. I agree. But the worldwide Leftist movement has prospered mightily from their presence and use and will continue to undercut any organized response to them—until millions are nuked or otherwise annihilated.

Iran will build the nukes. Give them to Hezbollah or al Qaeda. They will use them in Israel or Manchester or Omaha. Or some similar scenario. The attempt to STOP this will be vilified by the Left every step of the way. They’ll get help from libertarians and other well-meaning voices on our side, righteous isolationists, etc.

There is no real leadership here. Just political calculators and huffy opponents. And the average man or woman might end up alone on the 89th floor of a burning building with the WORST CHOICE ever to be made.
