I can comprehend Russia not minding a Mideast war that makes their oil exports more expensive, but I can’t figure how oil-importing China would benefit.

Am I missing something?

China appears to be working on dominating the far East and beyond. The only country standing in their way is the U.S.

Recently a large amount of oil has been discovered in the South China Sea which China is trying to contest with the Philippines.

In spite of the fact that we are their best customer, if few imploded, they could greatly expand their reach. Russia being a fellow communist nation but some what handicapped could reconstitute the USSR.

china will see an opportunity to seize control of oil rich territory and will start to march in ... through pakistan afghanistan and the like...

they will kill them all and lay the pipelines...
