Please provide a link to public statements or otherwise from Assad that he would use chemical weapons against foreign interventionists aka foreign fighters.
The article you link to says US trained Jordanian refugee Syrian “rebels”. One wonders how the US determined who and what their politics were before training them in our arms and methods? Does this not speak to fomenting an internal civil war... to the benefit of the Muslim brotherhood, and another stupidly botched ‘revolution’.
Who is calling these shots?— certainly the Saudis (with Israeli help) vs. their mutual foes the Iranians, who are shiite and support the Alawite Assad family (Alawites are shiite subsect, mystics really and ruling family in Syria since 1970. So this is how it works.
And the US is doing the bidding once again of the Saudis who supply money to madrassahs that train even more Sunni terrorists (to pay off the rebels in Saudi) who then attack the US and US interests. The muslim brotherhood is not liked by either the Iranians or Saudis as they represent either Sunni vs. Shia or the revolution that can develop of Sunni vs. Sunni in Saudi Arabia against the House of Saud.
So the US is at the beck and call of Saud, and so is bowing and scraping obamaumao. McCain— he is the mil industrial complex bozo of the year— who doesn’t know or care when we are supplying rebels who will soon attack us. It is ALL about the perpetuation of the machine— the bottom line of the war materials. There is NO US interest there, except to distract the US citizens from the reality of Benghazi. This is how obamaumao is being run.
