My hernia surgery was above the belt. A few small holes and a patch rolled out on the inside. I caught a cold a day after the surgery and coughed for days. Every time it hurt like all get out. Tried to use a pillow for support. Didn't help.
My lovely wife who could have been a nurse for Dr. Kevorkian just laughed everytime I coughed and yelled, saying only "you should try having a baby".
