I agree then. The Royal Air Force definitely uses the Storm Shadow, and perhaps they will also be used...though I doubt it. I believe the Royal Navy is already moving subs into position to take part.
Pardon my presumption...but I had not mentioned the Royal Air Force, and was specifically talking about naval assets.
Anyhow, I personally believe that such an intervention by both of our nations is not only not wise, but at this point, also uncalled for. 1st, it is extremely unclear how national interests are served by taking part on either side of this conflict. That is the principle thing.
Secondarily, there has been no evidence definitively showing it was Assad that carried out the attack, and could be equally plausible that the rebels themselves did it.

I agree with you on the other point. IF we are to act, air and naval strikes only. No ground troops, not even SF.
