I went to Disney World when my daughter was a bout 6. She says she doesn’t remember anything.

My granddaughter is now 9, will turn 10 in December. Hoping this is a better age.

We’d planned this trip last year when husband was still alive. He was too sick, even back then, to do all that traveling and walking so he was going to hold down fort.

I’ve got a neighbor holding down fort for pets now and it’s a bit easier logistically what with them living across the street.

It’s been a big year....death of husband, purchase of house for daughter, Disney World.

Which is to say it’s not been all good and many decisions were made at the last minute.

Billy would have wanted me to go to Disney World despite his death....I know this.
