It would probably take 65 republican senators to convict obama. If they had 51 the votes it would probably be around 10 for conviction. Most will vote to aquit unless they’re absolutely positive they have the votes to convict. Very few will stand on principles.

And if the Senate DID have a GOP majority, he wouldn't be convicted either.
