The opposite situation, is when the public rises against tyranny, and the troops remain loyal to the tyrant, the rising is crushed. (For example when the Mongolian troops, sent into Hungary by Kruschev in 1956, crushed the Hungarian Revolution. The Kremlin did not dare trust Russians to do the job, because Hungary looked like paradise compared to Russia at the time.)
Why if the Obama Administration is not thinking in these terms, would they be trying to disparage the legitimacy of the Founding Fathers' vision for America?
We need to make very sure that those in the Armed Forces understand that those traditional American values, being called in question, were--unlike the false dogma being promoted in Washington today--grounded upon Experience & Reason.
If the politicians now running the Defense Department won't do it; we have to find ways to make certain that those who enlist to defend us, really understand what their oaths to support the Constitution really mean.
In the meanwhile, this is further evidence as to why the House needs to set up a Committee to draft a bill of Impeachment.
